This is a reminder that the next in the sequence of popular town centre Crime Prevention Events, organised by Wycombe District Neighbourhood Watch Association, will take place in The Chilterns Shopping Centre (outside Wilkinsons) between 9.00AM and 2.00PM on Saturday, 22nd October.

Subject to final confirmation, the participants will be:

– Thames Valley Police
– Trading Standards
– Addaction (a drugs agency)
– Wycombe District Council’s Community Safety Team
– The Public Safety Team (re anti-social behaviour)
– Wycombe Watch (re pubs, shops etc)
– Wycombe District Neighbourhood Watch Association

These events have always proved to be extremely useful and very well attended with valuable crime prevention advice being available from all of the key agencies that are involved in trying to reduce crime.

With the advance of the hours of darkness, there is always an increased risk of burglaries at this time of year. So, advice on preventing these and other crimes is very important.
