Buckinghamshire Council launched its new five year Corporate Plan

From the Council press release Buckinghamshire Council five-year plan for residents:

The plan is designed to guide the council’s priorities, decisions and investment over the next five years. It sets out a clear vision for the future of Buckinghamshire and will be used to shape how council services are designed, delivered and improved, helping to make sure resources are focused on the issues that matter most to residents.

Opportunity and aspiration for all – helping residents gain skills, access education, find employment and achieve their ambitions.

Shaping great places – supporting sustainable growth and ensuring towns and villages remain attractive and well connected.

Thriving communities – helping communities become healthier, safer and more resilient.

Supporting the most vulnerable – providing high-quality care and early support for those who need it most.

Quality and value – delivering efficient, trusted services and making the best use of public money.

Residents will be able to track the Council’s progress through regular public updates and an annual report.”
