The HVRA Planning Sub-Committee has sent details of a useful tool on the Government’s Planning Portal. The ‘The Planning Portal’ allows you to click on possible home improvements on the interactive house to see what does and does not require planning permission. Hughenden Valley is within an “Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty” (AONB), often referred to in the portal as a “designated area” and there are several instances within the portal where you will need to take note of the special requirements.
