The road works providing the extra road drainage near the village hall are now about two weeks in and progressing well. On Valley Road itself this work is largely finished with extra drains inserted on the eastern side of the road and further drains being dug up Coombe Lane.

On Coombe Lane at the junction with Coombe Gardens an extra large soakaway has been created and this is still to be linked to the road drains.
