The Potter Cup quiz 2026

We are delighted to announce that the ever-popular Potter Cup Quiz for this year can go ahead despite worries over building a large enough team to run the evening. We are very fortunate in that Al Bowyer has kindly stepped forward from retirement to MC the quiz for us. I am sure we will all have a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

The date for this year’s quiz has been fixed for

Saturday 14 th March at 7.30pm

As usual, it will be held in the main hall. The doors will open at 7.00pm (but please don’t arrive before then!) and the quiz itself starts at 7.30pm. Teams can be up to 8 people. Maximum entry is 90.

Price: £16 per person, which includes a ploughman’s supper and dessert. Bring your own glasses & drinks.

Proceeds will go towards HVRA charitable projects such as the Christmas Gift Bags, Seniors Tea, the roadside planters and other items of village interest.
