Major Glenn Ridgley will lead a short Remembrance Service beside the Memorial Plaque on the Old Chapel at 11am, after which you can retire to The Gate for coffee and a chat, where parking is available. You are invited to come and take part.
If anyone would like to bring and show old medals old memories can be revived and retold. All Welcome.
As a response to the present situation, we have restarted our team to support anyone in our community who may need some friendly assistance. Should you need help with shopping or collection of medicines do let us know. If you would just like someone to talk with on the phone, discuss a worry or to pray with you, we have people who would love to help.
If you have problems where you need some advice or have struggled to get help elsewhere we will try and signpost you to the right assistance. We will be very happy to do this and look forward to hearing from you.
This is a potentially worrying time for us all, and so we at St Michael’s wish to contribute to the support of our local community. We have a group of some 30 people who would love to chat with anyone in our parish who may need some company, a shoulder to cry on, or perhaps discuss worries or concerns about loved ones or themselves.
